Moscow of my youth - Первомайски Район

Just going back by the memory lane. Recently I was able to find really rear item on the Internet. I was growing up in Moscow of 1980's and by the end of the decade I left not only my hometown but the country as a whole. Not to mention that whole world up there went to complete renovation two years after I left. So something which I remember from the 80's Moscow is no longer where and part of the the history which is going to be nostalgic not only for people like I, who live outside of it, but also to someone who never left the place and still lives in a same apartment. Back in a 1960, the Moscow borders were expanded to recently build Moscow Ring Highway, and all small towns and villages inside the ring became the Moscow proper. The Newly created Pervomisky District of Moscow, incorporated in itself Eastern part of Stalin's District with Izmaylovsky Park on the north east edge of Moscow as well as near by villages Izmaylovo and Ivanovskoe ( only northern part, north of Shasse Entuziastov, the rest of Ivanovskoe and near by town of Perovo became part of Perovsky District). By the end of 1969 borders of the district become slightly adjusted again and become final borders of Pervomaysky District which I remember.

By 1991 the District was broken up to many small micro districts as Yuzhnoe Izmailovo, Vostochnoe Izmailovo, Severnoe Izmailovo and many others which become part of big Eastern City District of Moscow. Next I would like to talk about another Moscow District as a part of the Moscow of my youth series - Sokolniki.
