This is a very interesting map from the French world atlas published back in a end of 19th century. Map described vast ethnically dispersed palette of first Russian demographic censes conducted back in 1897. The map is also interesting because it is a first non Jewish oriented map which would show the distribution of Jewish population in Russian Empire. We are not taking Pale of Settlements maps published prior.
